The Good Witch by Jackie Pride
Being called a Fairy Godmother would make most people smile but when it comes from your Reiki Master Teacher and your "spiritual mentor", it means even more. I've been studying with Jackie Pride, who was licensed in Doreen Virtue's first offered ATP class, for a couple of years now. I made the trip to L.A. this past April to meet her and attend a Medicine Buddha (Dalai Lama) lecture. When I met her she was three months pregnant with Grace. She looked absolutely stunning. Her aura shined and her compassionate, caring and sensitive demeanor made us become kindred spirits immediately. What I love about Jackie is that she can handle my quirkiness and not freakout about it. I decided to send her a package with LOTS of my altar stuff, since I was moving and wouldn't have space for all of it. I have to admit the package might have thrown some people off, but Jackie was simple grateful and thankful. When I email Jackie freaking out about the newsletter she just stays calm and gets the job done. I'm thankful for her grounded nature, centered focus and enlightened mind. She almost always can put things in right perspective for me. After all, isn't that what good friends do? See it from the "other angle" and put you back on track? I love her and her work. I thank her for her support, connection and time spend nourishing the Happy Butterfly Lightworkers Community. It is my home away from home!!!
