nodding knee reminds me
that the spiraling mind
is numb for now.
racing thoughts of you
won't let me rest,
for now.
seeing you sideways,
again,
full escapes resume
their daydream cages
and I'm trapped in there
looking for a key
finding it in exhaustion,
sudden jerks,
lazy yawns.
